HANDBOOKS.

The SEKEHE project works towards a series of online handbooks designed to share insights and practical guidance on promoting inclusion and equity in higher education. These handbooks will include:

  1. Methodological Framework: A guide for integrating experiential knowledge into higher education systems, with strategies for local and international implementation.

  2. Co-Teaching Practices: A collection of co-teaching examples from different countries, along with key elements and challenges to consider when applying this approach.

  3. Building student support: Strategies and formats for supporting current students in vulnerable situations, with a synthesis of best practices and common challenges.

  4. Access to Higher Education: An exploration of conditions and barriers to higher education for future students in vulnerable situations, along with actionable recommendations to improve access.

The project aims to provide tools and frameworks to inspire and support educators, institutions, and policymakers in creating more inclusive educational environments.

At the start of the project we created a chain letter to explore our views on experiential knowledge. You can read the chain letter here!

This resource provides practical strategies to engage students in developing supportive, inclusive environments that address both academic and personal challenges.

CONDITIONS OF ACCES

The Conditions of Access to Higher Education Handbook examines the challenges students face when accessing university education, particularly those from vulnerable backgrounds.
